Here is the first comic that was done completely on the computer. At one time I bought myself a Wacom tablet to draw directly into the laptop. Just a simple drawing to show how easy it is to tangle your self with your hose and downline.
Offshore Birthday,
Yet another year has passed and another birthday spent on the water at work. When holidays and birthdays happen when you are on the sea, they seem to drift by like a day. I assumed my birthday was going to drift by like usual but someone on the crew found out. They asked the cook to make a cake for the occasion. All that was requested was that it be 'dirty'. This is what was bestowed to me. Note the cook was a female and I am not telling you where the first piece was cut from.
This is what happens to a flange when you use a grinder to remove the bolts. The story goes as this; a diver used an Impact (A hydraulic Impact Wrench for you non-offshore type people) to remove the bolts from this three Inch Flange. Instead of gently using the Impact until the socket gripped the bolts, he went full force at them. Every nut on the bolts became rounded off until the Impact was useless. The diver then asked for the grinder and went to town through the middle of the flange. As you can see o-ring face is completely gone.
Here are some pictures for the only two races I have done. Here's some from the first race and click here for two from the other race.
Can't you just see the pain!
